The design process for a custom home begins with getting to know you. The next steps involve translating that knowledge into a design which truly captures your vision. This is a process which evolves in detail as the project develops. It begins with the creation of two-dimensional diagrams and floor plans which outline your functional program. That is, the rooms and spaces in your home that are integral to the way you live your life. Next we begin to transform your floor plans into a three-dimensional form which captures your vision of the aesthetics of your dream home.
As the project develops, we continue to communicate and collaborate with you to ensure we are on track with your vision. Through the use of photo-realistic renders and videos we are able to show you what your home will truly become. Giving you certainty that what is depicted on the drawings will become everything you have dreamed of when it is constructed in the real world.
Furthermore, at S-IAD sustainability is our passion and we are committed to working with you to achieve the sustainable design goals which are important to you. This could be a Net-Zero or Passive House home, or it could mean simply achieving a home which slightly out performs the baseline. We will meet you where you are and guide you to the best resolution.
